I was sitting on my Mom's couch reading this delightful little book when my 12-year-old brother Travis came home from school. He first says "Hey!" then he sees what I am reading then continues with, "Man...you're reading that book too! All the girls in my school are reading that book!" (Low blow) Just because it says Young Adult on the cover doesn't mean a 22-year-old girl can't read it...right!?!
To finish with my book review, I thought it was a very cute little book. And if I was 12 again I would probably think it was the "coolest book ever" (besides Twilight of course). It's about a group of sheltered, mountain dwelling girls who learn how to be a Princess's at the Princess Academy. They dream of the Prince choosing one of them to be his bride. Ah, doesn't every girl dream of being a princess one day? The main character Miri is a spunky girl that you get to know really well, but the author doesn't develop the other characters as much as I would have liked. But hey still a good read.
