Stephenie Meyer is a genius. She is witty and fun. But once again she created a
self-sacrificing, power female in her lead role. Just like Bella who tries to recreate the "third wife" in "Eclipse" by stabbing her arm to save her beloved Edward, Wanderer and Melanie jump in front of (can't remember his name) who is trying to hurt their Jared without even thinking. Some think the book is slow and it takes a long time to get to the point, but I found it exciting and page turning. I couldn't help thinking to myself after every chapter ended, "Is the seeker going to find Wanderer?" or "what will happen if the humans get caught on one of their raids?" or "what if Melanie disappears for good?" or better yet "How long will Stephenie Meyer let Melanie's body keep making out with Jared and Ian?" I just couldn't put this book down. I am glad it ended the way it did and I absolutely loved the hopefulness about it. Like when Wanderer saw the two souls loving a human baby at the park. Very cool! Definitely a MUST READ!

I really liked it too, Steph. I think it is the first book, besides Disney books and Winnie the Pooh, that I've bought in a long time. I love reading your book reviews and I am totally going to the library to get that Princess one.
Cool - haven't read this one yet, but hope to soon, it sounds great!
