Happy 4 year Anniversary

Ty and I celebrated our Anniversary on Aug 21st. By celebrating, I mean we went on a cool camping trip up to Yellowstone! We invited Mike and Beth to come and there son Treston that is Kaden's age. Ty and I were telling eachother the best things that have happened these past 4 years. They included Kaden joining our family, buying a house, graduating from college, going on some cool vacations, taking care of eachother during some major surgery, and other things.

Starting our trip! (you can tell because Kaden is still smiling)

Kaden and Treston looking at the camp fire. What a pain to keep those two from falling in.

I really don't know how many cookies Kaden ate that night. He was running around everything. The video looked better on my camera because you could see, so sorry if you can't see Kaden very good.

Good Morning Campers!! p.s...it was like 30 degrees or colder...

In Yellowstone Park. This river was way pretty!!

Me standing by a waterfall. I don't know what I was laughing at.

A cool geyser field. Ty kept saying "I dare you to run through it!" umm ya right!

Ty and Kaden at a cool Geyser. We actually got sprayed with some water while walking past this one. Scary, but it wasn't hot and it didn't boil our flesh. We thought it would.

Me, Ty and Kaden singing on our way to Old Faithful. The best part was Ty didn't know I was filming so he wasn't afraid to just belt out a little Colby Caillet.

Old Faithful before lift off...

Just starting...

Old Faithful in full swing! Really cool!!

The one and only buffalo we saw right before we left the park. His head was bobbing up and down like he was just about to fall asleep. I thought only humans did that. Now I guess buffaloes can to.

It was an awesome trip that we had to cut short because I had to work Sat. night. I felt bad for being the reason we all had to leave, but we were all so tired anyway that we were all secretly grateful for the excuse to get home and take a nap.

Ohh...I almost forgot to tell the worst part of the trip. Well we were in the gift shop at Old Faithful and Kaden was in the stroller. The aisles are really skinny and there were so many Asians in this little shop it was hard to move around. Well anyway, Kaden got a hold of this ceramic pitcher and dropped it. Ty was trying to save it but none-the-less it crashed and broke. I was so pissed especially after I saw that it cost $40. I could buy that thing from Target for less that $10. If we could produce steam you would have been able to see if coming out of my ears I was so mad. So cute little Beth goes up to one of the clerks and told them what happened. Come to find out, they told us that we didn't have to pay for it. Yeah!! Hallelujah!! We bought Beth an ice-cream cone for saving us $40.

It looks like you had a fun anniversary trip. That's a funny story about Kaden- well, funny knowing it didn't cost you in the end!

That sounds like fun-except the broken vase. I can't really see you with steam, though-you don't get really mad, do you?? So, what else is new? Anything exciting?
