Have I ever told you guys that Kaden is a horrible eater? Well most 2-yr-olds are but I feel Kaden is the worst. We had a break-through like last month!!!
Kaden ate a carrot!! and a carrot is a vegetable...YEAH!!! Anyway, so for lunch last week I made Kaden a peanut butter sandwich, some apple slices and 2 carrot sticks. He did pretty good and ate half of the sandwich and an apple slice after which he asked for a popsicle. I told Kaden he had to eat one carrot before he could have a popsicle. In order to make it fair, I ate the other carrot stick before I could have a popsicle to. Kaden agreed to the terms and I left the room to attend to Paycen. Seconds later I hear one of the kitchen cabinets quietly open. I sneak around the corner and spy on Kaden. He totally threw his carrot in the garbage. I then walk back in to the living room. Kaden comes prancing in the room with an empty plate. He then shows me his empty plate and opens his mouth wide so I could see that he had chewed and swallowed his carrot.
Kaden: "Mom popsicle please!"
Me: "Did you eat your carrot all gone?"
Kaden: "Mom...carrot all gone...yeah, yeah!" while clapping his hands
Me: with a stern look "Did you throw your carrot in the garbage Kaden?"
Kaden: looking at his feet and swinging his arms "yah..."
At least he was honest the second time I asked. What a sneaky little carrot!! I can't believe he thought he had me fooled. Well, I would've been fooled if I didn't see him actually throw it away. Kaden is TWO!! What is going to happen when he's SIX or worse SIXTEEN? Yikes...

That is awesome. Just wait. They get even cuter and sneakier. (I don't know how to spell) Last week Ashlynn his a friends play cell phone in the front of her pants. When I asked where it was she stood up to show me she didn't have it. After she sat back down I saw the bulge. The little sneak. The are still cute sneaky or not.
Funny! At least Kaden was honest. :)
All right Kaden, what a smart boy! He's not sneaky, he's just resourceful and knows how to get what he wants- and that's a great quality!
What a smart little guy!! I mean.. that is pretty good thinking for someone who didn't want to eat it, but wanted the treat! I love hearing cute stories like that!!
Tee hee hee! Oh Kaden, you are a clever little guy. That is too funny!
Laughing like crazy!!! Holy cow that is FUNNY! Isn't it amazing how kids are....and they don't learn it anywhere....that's just who they are! Sneaky little guy! Good thing his mommy is looking out for him! :) Great story!
That is so funny. Oh man... you are in for it with those two boys!
We are hoping to make it to Yellowstone some time this summer which means a visit to my bestest friend and her cute family :)
Amazing what a 2 yr old mind can come up with when they want something really bad...nice one, Kaden.
You better watch out Steph that was pretty sneaky - and with the things Danny and Ty did we know there is a little something in his blood!
great story!!!! that's hillarious. My little silas is probably good competition for the worst eater, But I don't think he's figured out the old toss it in the trash trick. Too cute.
