It's morning time!! I will give you a quick glimpse in my head as I try to get out of bed.
whine. whine. whine. whimper. sniffle. "Where my dad go? Daaaaaaaad!!! Mommmmmm!!! are you?"
great. Kaden's awake. Does he really not know where I am? What time is it? Only 7:30. Why can't he just give me 5 more minutes.
Kaden shakes me. I fake sleep.
"Mom. I hungry. Mom. I Tirsty. Wake up. Open your eyes. Sun awake. Look mom."
I open my eyes and with them plead for 5 more minutes. Kaden is immovable. He wants me up now. I lay in bed to stretch and hear the second son start to cry.
great. Okay Steph. Think happy thoughts. Today will be a good day. You will open your eyes and get out of bed. Not a big deal. You will not be tired. You will get up and make everyone waffles. You will smile at Kaden.
I hear a big thunk followed by a loud painful scream.
Okay. I'm up. What was that?
I run to Paycen's room and find him sprawled on the floor. What the? How did you get down here? Did you seriously just climb out of your crib? I pick up the boy. I cuddle and wipe some drippy droppy tears. All better. But seriously. How did you fall?
I am out of bed. The crib bed is now lowered. I made some yummy waffles.

That is so funny! It's like a day in my life! Lol. Kids think we're just suppose to jump out of bed and be wide awake, when they've probably had like 5-10 minutes for themselves! Seriously, what are they thinking? ha ha! Joys of being the mommy!
Congratulations for getting out of bed! ...And for staying out- my problem is I'll get up long enough to plug in Jana's pacifier, give Wyatt a few trucks and balls in his crib, and go lay back down. And Paycen is way too young to be trying to get out of his crib, you'd better have a talk with him about that!
don't you love mornings??? And that is so crazy that Paycen fell out of bed already! Gabe is still in his....he REFUSES to sleep in a big boy bed and ONLY wants his crib! Therefore, the girls are STILL in pack-n-plays! Oh the joys of motherhood!!!
How old is Paycen? He should not be climbing out of bed yet!
Getting out of bed is SOOO hard. Kudos to you for making waffles. That rarely happens here. Most days it's cold cereal or candy :)

It could be worse...it could be 6:30am. But, I have the advantage for a little bit longer of telling Logan he can't get up b/c it's still dark outside, then given him some books, goldfish, and water to hold him off for another hour. Yes, I really do that. Dang, I'm a good mom!
Oh goodness what a morning! Good for you in trying to keep it positive... I need to better at that! I tend to grumble on my way in the early morning hour! Miss seeing you too! I need to call you and chat! Your boys are totally cute!
