I'm done!! Finally!! I told myself that I would just read them slow and enjoy myself, but I swear once you hit books 5,6,and 7 there is no stopping you. My poor family has been neglected. I am so glad no neighbors or friends have come over the last couple of days because they would've found a pale face woman in her sweats frantically giving her kids more crackers while her eyes poured over the pages of her beloved Harry Potter books.
I love them. These books are the greatest. This was my first time reading all 7 books in a row. J.K. Rowling is a genius. She had it all planned out from the beginning. I caught on to things in the first couple of books knowing what was to come that I hadn't really paid any attention to earlier. Fabulous!!
Anyway, tomorrow I am putting on makeup and going outside. I need a break from the couch.

LOVE it! My kids suffer the same Harry Potter/Twilight-induced neglect every once in a while too. It's good for them AND good for Mommy. :) And tomorrow is supposed to be really nice, we're going to get some outside time too.
Oh I would love to read them all in a row! what a fun idea....maybe this summer.....
Steph I am with you! I love Harry Potter! Sadie hates them. I can't convince her to read them. She read books 1 & 2, but couldn't get into them. I keep telling her to try again, but she doesn't listen. :)
That is so funny! We all need our little escape. You know what's crazy? I've NEVER read 1 Harry Potter book. It's just a serious I never got into. I've never seen the movies either. But reading your post makes me wonder if I'd like them....hmmm....maybe I'll have to try them.
I agree whole-heartedly. It will be really hard for any series to ever replace Harry Potter as my favorite.
