Glow Stick

Question: So what do you do when you open a glow stick at night to play with and then your toddler won't let it go? Answer: you put it to bed with them! So that is exactly what happened. I put it on a string and we were flipping the glow stick around in the dark and Kaden loved it. I took it away when we were getting him ready for bed and the monster Kaden appeared. He ended up sleeping with it minus the string. I snuck in his room to make sure he was okay and couldn't resist snapping some photos. He slept with it clutched in his hand. What a funny boy!

Our weekend was awesome! How was everyone else's? It was so nice outside that we spent most of our time out. Sunday Kaden went to nursery for the first time. We put him down and he ran in ready to play with the toys. I was like..."K, C-ya later." Done deal. Mom said that sometimes the seperation anxiety can come later. Hopefully not, because I had one of the best Sundays in a long time. I actually sat down next to someone in R.S. I usually sit alone because Kaden is a terror after 3 hours of church.

We visited Micah and Jenni on Saturday and had fun. We played the Wii for a little bit and after beating Tyrel 2/2 competition games he handed the control to someone else and said, "I'm done playing this game." We are very competetive and are both poor losers. I'm just glad that I won and didn't have to show the family my poor sport reaction.

I just got back from Kaden's 18 month well baby visit. Every thing looks good and he is now a whopping 21 lbs and has gone from 0% to 3% for his weight according to age. He now has 5 teeth (3 on top and 2 on bottom) and a molar coming in. Dr. Lofgran said that he is just growing teeth how and when he wants to. That sounds like his personality, doing this his own way.

Our vinyl is ordered and will come this week. I am so excited to be doing a big project on the house. We hope every one is doing good. My goal last week to enjoy has been met. I feel so much better especially since it feels more like spring here. Okay so next goal is to...Do I dare say it... well... it's to clean my house. Yikes! Good thing nobody has come over for awhile. I'm getting started today. Wish me luck.

This is probably one of the cutest things I've seen in a while. I'm surprised he fell asleep, Chase probably would have stayed up all night!

What a fun age - although all ages seem fun right? I love that he's clutching onto it even after he's asleep. Cute little boy :)
