Christmas was incredible this year. We had well over a foot of new snow when we woke up Christmas morning. Kaden was so excited about Santa, the presents and the candy. Tyrel worked all Christmas Eve and was able to come home for a part of Christmas morning. I finally didn't have to work during Christmas and my sister and her family were in town for the holidays. I got to talk to my brother Robert who is serving a mission in Spain. I couldn't have asked for a better holiday!!

I tried to put on a brave, happy outlook on my blog...but it's a lie. The truth is we all had the stomach flu. Kaden puked for a couple days with his last episode on Christmas Eve. Poor guy... he would wake up in the middle of the night crying saying "Gucky" over and over. Then I had my go Christmas Day and the next with extremely violent vomitting. Nasty. Then poor Ty was next. We were all left dazed and confused.
All is well now. I look back, laugh and say to myself, "It figures!" Happy 2009 Everyone!!

I still have my blue ones! They are at my mom's house though. We are so cute. I should post a picture of us in our matching blue and pink jammies. Where the heck did we get those anyways?
I had to laugh out loud at Kaden crying that Santa ate all the cookies. What a priceless picture. I think I'll keep that in mind - make sure Santa leaves at least 1 cookie.
Yeah, I was wondering where the "truthful" Christmas info was at! :) Sorry you were sick...that is never fun and equally NO FUN when the kiddo is sick too! Glad you Christmas turned out okay and it was so fun to get to see you guys! Can't wait to get together and play the wii sometime soon! :)
Our Santa always took a bite out of the cookie and drank half the milk as proof of his coming. :) I'm sorry everyone got sick, but it looks like you made the best of it.
Hilarious! We weren't sick at our house for Christmas, but we did get snowed in at Jeremy's dad's house-which was still fun, but Morgan didn't get to play with the kitchen Santa brought for a few days!
