Spain Part Uno

Hey Everyone!! These are the promised pictures of Spain. What an experience!! I am a travel addict now. I want to go everywhere, next time though with Tyrel. I would like to have my own personal interpreter with me at all times.

Travel:
First off it was a long trip. I started by traveling from Moscow to Rexburg (10 hours) with Ty and the kids. Then I rode the bus from Rexburg to SLC (5hrs). Flight that night from SLC to Paris! (11hrs) Then layover and flight from Paris to Barcelona (2hrs). We got there and it was like 4:00 in the afternoon. I wanted to crawl in bed but I was in Spain, so I made Rob take me to the Palace to see the fountains and lights.

Rob, my flight partner.
My famous sunrise over Paris. So beautiful!

Right before landing in Paris

Me, Robert and Caren waiting in the Metro station. My first ride on a Metro ever. It was how I imagined it, nauseating and crowded.
La Sagrada Familia:

The Sacred Family Cathedral

After we saw the Sagrada Familia we ate shaved lamb on a spit. My stomach did good till we got to the market with all the nasty smells of dead fish. I thought I was going to die.

Local market. The stands of fruit and vegetables were amazingly colorful and pretty. The smell of raw meat and fish was indescribable.
The Mediterranean:

Statue of Colombus next to the Port.

Me and Rob relaxing at the pier.

Pretty architecture

Surfer dude. I had to take a picture because I've never seen anyone surfing. And then to my right was the naked dude. No pictures don't worry.

I touched the Mediterannean!

And then I got wet. I sloshed around all day for another 5 hours in wet socks and shoes.

My screen saver.

Street outside Caren's apartment. All around you there are apartments and the architecture is amazing.
Park Guell:

The Famous gecko designed by artist Antoni Gaudi

The aucoustics in this columned area was awesome!

This Park was one of my favorite places. I wonder how long it took to get it completed?

After the park we hiked to this cross. At the top you had a great view of the city. So pretty. I was suprised by how non-smoggy it was for a city of 5 million people.
